Disney Cruise Line (DCL) provides premium cruise experiences based on Disney stories. The DCL itinerary app assists passengers in easily accessing and interacting with cruise schedules and activities. I designed itinerary cards featuring illustrative elements, focusing on clarity, usability, and intuitive navigation. These cards help guests quickly understand key information and enhance interaction, while effectively reflecting Disney's branding and visual identity.



The main focus was creating a unified look by carefully matching textures and shadow angles across visual elements. The DCL color palette and Disney typeface were consistently incorporated throughout the visuals to ensure legibility, visual harmony, and brand integrity.


Iteration was an essential part of the design process, involving finding the optimal composition, texture, colors, and background gradients. During this process, I focused particularly on achieving clear contrast between background and text to ensure readability, as well as balancing colors across the elements so they appeared as a cohesive set.


Illustrations were thoughtfully created based on distinct themes, including onboard experiences, debarking, Disney islands, sea-based activities, and special occasions. Background gradients featured subtle variations of sea-inspired blues, greens, and reds, carefully chosen to complement each illustration's color scheme and reinforce the overall oceanic theme.


Beyond illustration, the design process centered on crafting a cohesive UI component that seamlessly fits into the overall service experience. I focused on structuring information in a way that enhances readability and usability while maintaining consistency with Disney’s visual identity. Every element, from typography to color choices, was carefully selected to ensure clarity and ease of interaction.

Great care was taken to ensure consistent color usage across illustrations, creating visual harmony within the overall UI. These final assets were integrated into the mobile platform, enabling guests to interact conveniently and intuitively with the service, while also effectively reinforcing the Disney brand identity.
